This fall update deserves a round of a-paws!

Hello Again!

Here at Spark Point, we are settling into fall with new furry friends, plenty of cinnamon coffee, and the launch of ACCELERATE! Read on if you are prepared for extreme cuteness and the latest Spark Point news.

Introducing: Bark Point

Our Slack channels abound with pictures of our team’s fur babies, and we want to share the love. In addition to Whitney’s new puppy Olive, let’s take a look at some of the other adorable assistants we love so much!

From left to right: Olive, Caroline’s rabbit Uni, and Maddy’s dog Winnie!

ACCELERATE! Applications Close Soon.

The application for the ACCELERATE! program closes on October 31. We could not be more excited to work with our very first cohort in January.

If you are part of a small nonprofit organization looking to build a strong grants portfolio, fill out the application here. You can also share this link if you know of an organization that would benefit from this initiative.

Introducing #SparkLove

Our clients bring so much energy and joy to our team, so we took some time to share thoughts on a few of our current clients. One of our Grant Writers recalled how connected they feel to Life Pieces to Masterpieces, saying “their warmth and positivity as a client reflect the beauty of their mission to use the arts as a unifying, humanizing force. I am overjoyed to work with them!”

Regarding Bread for the City, an Operations team member mentioned how compelling they find their work: “They have very wide-ranging programs that address a lot of things that people facing poverty struggle with. I really appreciate the fact that they are a client that comprehensively cares for their communities by providing medical and legal aid, food, housing, and more!”

Finally, we are extremely grateful for our clients – both former and current – that are working to protect and uplift women in the face of extreme injustice to their bodily autonomy.

Welcome to Our New Clients!

Together We Bake empowers underserved and underrepresented women through a comprehensive workforce training and personal development program. They help women gain self-confidence, transferable workforce skills, and invaluable hands-on experience, allowing them to find full employment and move toward self-sufficiency.
